Watched Troy on Thursday with James-Johnny-Judith-Junrong-Charlene. the movie effects are very zhai. but the anti-war thing is very off-putting, it's very modernish!! Brad pitt is so cool haha the stab people in the shoulder move is very awesome. and orlando bloom always just shoots arrows in whatever movie he is in!!!! what a wuss. and realised that in public places it REALLY is super easy to find junrong in a crowd cause of his height :O ... used to think it's an exaggeration but not anymore.
Watched Blood Brothers, think the plot is so cool. it's kind of like infernal affairs but doesn't border onto copycattish at all. But sadly it's a chinese show so people won't watch it despite me urging them to... except sara siew :D i love andy lau and jacky cheung's acting... they add these dimensions to the script that makes any movie they star in ... multidimensional? haha but it's actors (and, just maybe, actresses) like these that make the movie a genre , as opposed to screenplays. Tony leung and stephen chow also figure in this!
Watched Van Hel Sing this week also!!! with James-Junrong-Judith-Zhipeng-Charlene. The movie is babetastic! cha thinks so too so i can write it here.

Just watched Maybe Baby on channel i and it's very bittersweetish. the husband is this struggling screenwriter who reads the wife's diary and uses their private personal lives to write a screenplay. but the wife found out and blah blah and it's so touching :( and sad :(
feeling sentimental. think it's cause just did mom's accounts for her stall and it's not a happy sight. i wonder how those myths about hawkers driving mercs benzes can be true when the rent and electricity and water bills are all so expensive and there're so few customers. my mom's stall's rent is not so bad, eight hundred but that's cause it's an ulu coffeeshop. hawker centres can cost up to 5k per stall. sigh.
the baseball shot through the open window and knocked the bartender's spectacles off. Unperturbed, the bartender picked up his glasses and wiped them with his shirt. a customer looked askance at him, and said,
"I ain't drinking out of that."
