shall try sneak attack blogging. so that i can smugly remind kai that it is his turn to blog tomorrow morning. hope he doesn't read this tonight. heh.
and so. day 3 of blocks absolutely sucked. may rosencrantz and guildenstern burn in hell. never mind the bloody theatre and the oh-so-smart misuse of free speech speech. maths is tomorrow. i wish al-khawrizmi (is that his name?) didn't invent algebra. or that another someone-or-other hadn't discovered pi. or something. here's a thought: if pi = 3 then our lives would be simpler. if i'm not wrong the hebrews believed it was. (well 22/7 would be ok too, but then only the egyptians thought in those terms.)
ok never mind. crap. math. crap. math. crap. math. crap. math. crap. math. crap. math. crap. math. crap.
i think long hours of math practice tends to make one's mind increasingly one-tracked.
on another note: judging from the little affair about kai's hands... i think we can safely draw the lesson that it is not safe to bet. even when you know what you're betting about. the odds are always stacked against you. the house always wins. ergo do not bet. even in small amounts, and even when you make all sorts of "scientific calculations" in order to minimize the risks. :p
good luck all.
