and the day drew to an enervated close as even the hard hammering sounds of the piano shrivelled up in the heat...

and that more or less captures the mood of friday. (i think. though i have no great gift for description, unlike most other people.)

anyway it's sort of at an end - one would have expected something out of ordinary, some deviation from the humdrum norm - but it was disappointing in its ordinariness.

nothing, essentially, happened.

well, aside from the discovery of a secret herng jer fan club from next door =) entertaining for a while. haha.

anyway, i'm supposed to be here to formally announce the hiatus. (here it does literally take two to tango, two to blog, and two to stop.) and so here is the formal announcement:

we are going on hiatus. and this time, we mean it (erm. right, kai?)

blogging here has mostly been sort of intermittent and flash in the pan-ish and it is likely to get even more so as the A's approach. (lack of inspiration, you know.) and so to get all of you off our backs (and also to get us off each other's backs) with the incessant calls for a regular blog - this is a hiatus.

and hence, from henceforth, this blog is temporarily annulled.
