kai's set a new record - three posts in a row! at this rate i can retire.

i have an excuse, however, for not posting anything. it's been a frenetic last week of term (largely spent watching batman: the animated series on veoh.com, but also intermittently reading about the dutch republic). packing junk that's piled up in my room over the course of the year is an extremely painful affair, involving taping, pulling, grunting (a lot) and panicking.

and then there's standing at the photocopier for hours on end pirating the correspondence of king george iii and edmund burke to bring back home to singapore over summer to read (because you just know that the national library is not going to have these books). for the record, the mad monarch is a royal pain in the ass.

and so apologies for not blogging, here i am fitting in some time before flying off to the iberian peninsula for a good week's vacation and relaxation. :)
